Interpreting your Company Values

The Company Values page helps you understand how your organization’s frameworks connect to you and your Plum Profile. Each value is broken down into related competencies and Talents, giving you insight into where you feel most energized, or potentially drained. Company Values can guide you in aligning your strengths with your company’s values and help you identify opportunities for growth and collaboration.

A framework is a structured set of values (like “Culture” or “Leadership Principles”) defined by your company. Each framework groups together the core values and related competencies that reflect what your organization emphasizes.

Page Overview

Below is a guide to each area of the page:

  1. Framework Name
At the top, you’ll see the name of your company’s framework.

  2. Tooltip
Click the tooltip icon to see more details about the framework. If your company has included additional resources, you’ll also find a link here.

  3. Values and Batteries
Each value has a name and a battery icon. The battery connects directly to your Plum Profile and shows whether you are driven or drained by that particular value.

  4. Value Explanation
Each value includes a description that explains its meaning within your company’s framework.

  5. Value Accordion (Open)
When you expand a value, you’ll see a list of competencies related to it. Each competency is linked to a Talent, with the Talent name displayed at the bottom of the card. Click the card to explore more about that Talent and discover the other competencies that contribute to it.

  6. Value Accordion (Closed)
When the Value accordion is collapsed, you’ll see Talent badges that give you a quick overview of which Talents make up that Value.
