A user has an assignment in the following scenarios:
- They are an Expert Contributor for a Plum Match Criteria Survey.
- They are a Hiring Team Member for a Job Requisition.
- They are a Collaborator for a Talent Collection (Group, Map, or Cohort).
If they have an assignment, they have access to the specific Match Criteria, Job Requisition, or Collection (Group, Map, or Cohort) that they are an Expert Contributor, Hiring Team Member, or Collaborator for, respectively.
It is possible for a user to not be assigned to a Match Criteria, Job Requisition, or Collection (Group, Map, or Cohort) and still have access to it, in the case of them having a system-wide role that provides that access. For example, a Recruiting Admin would have access to all Job Requisitions but not necessarily be a Hiring Team Member for a specific Job Requisition.
