1. How do I add a new Job Req?
The default view within the Recruiting tab is where you can Add and manage jobs.
You can add new job requisitions at any time by clicking Add Job at the top-right of your screen.
Enter the following information into the job builder:
- Internal job title
- Office location (or select the checkbox if this role has no office location)
- Number of hires (cannot be zero)
- External job title (leave this blank if the external title is the same as the internal title. Note: this title will be visible to candidates).
- Job category
- Whether a resume and cover letter will be collected through Plum
Click Next, Job Description
Enter or copy and paste the job description into the box provided.
Click Create Job.
2. How do I edit a job title or job details?
In the Job Req that you wish to modify, select the Job Info tab.
Select Edit beside Details.
3. How do I change asking for a resume or cover letter?
If you no longer wish to collect documents, or if you wish to make the document submission mandatory for every candidate, you can edit the requirement to submit a resume or cover letter.
In the Job Req that you wish to modify, select the Job Info tab.
Select Edit beside Details.
Under Collect?, select the correct drop-down menu option for each document type.
Click Next, Job Description, then Update Job.
4. How do I close a job?
When your recruitment effort is completed, you will want to close the job req in Plum. You can do so by:
Access the job req that you wish to close.
In the Job Info tab, selecting Close Job at the bottom of the screen.
A notification pop up window will appear, select Close Job.
5. How do I remove a Job?
You should only remove jobs that were created in error. When the recruitment effort is completed for a job, you should close the job, but not remove it.
Note:
- Removed jobs will not be viewable or editable
- Removed jobs cannot be reopened
- Removed jobs will not be included in reporting or analytics
- Applicants within a removed job will still be available via Talent Rediscovery only
- Jobs for which a hire has been marked cannot be removed. The Remove Job button will remain inactive, even after the job is closed.
First, you must close the job, as only closed jobs can be removed. Access the job req from your Job Dashboard, and in the Job Info tab, click on Close Job, at the bottom of the page.
Click the Remove Job button.
